Tours After Dark is an editorial and referral site: we do not sell tours, and we do not take bookings or payments on this website. When you are ready to book, you click through to a partner platform (such as Viator, GetYourGuide, or Klook), and the booking is completed on that partner’s own site.

Optional Google Analytics stays off by default. We load it only after you select “Accept analytics.” We do not use advertising cookies, build advertising profiles, or use cookies to track you across unrelated websites.

Cookies and Storage This Site May Use

  • Strictly necessary WordPress, WooCommerce, security, and session cookies: These support core site operation, security, and authenticated administration. They are not used for advertising.
  • tad_analytics_consent and local browser storage: Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics for up to 180 days so we do not ask on every page.
  • _ga and _ga_*: Set by Google Analytics only after you accept. They distinguish pseudonymous visits and may remain for up to 2 years unless you withdraw consent or delete them.

Google Analytics

Advertising personalisation signals are disabled. The tag file is served locally for performance, while consented measurement data is processed by Google. Rejecting analytics has no effect on site access.

Partner (Third-Party) Cookies

When you click a link to a booking partner (Viator, GetYourGuide, Klook), you leave Tours After Dark and arrive on the partner’s website. That partner may set its own cookies — including cookies that credit the referral to us for commission. Those cookies are set by the partner on the partner’s site and are governed by that partner’s own cookie and privacy policies, not this one.

Managing or Withdrawing Consent

Use the Privacy choices control at any time to accept or reject analytics. If you withdraw a previous acceptance, Tours After Dark stops loading the analytics tag and removes the common Google Analytics cookies it can access. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
